What We’re Doing in 2022

Life has continued on for the Yoga for Scleroderma team and we’ve all been getting back into our grooves “out in the world” in ways that suit each of us and any health concerns we may have for ourselves and our immediate families.

Kathy has been enjoying road travel all around the southwest to attend family events, and go camping and hiking. Though she really enjoys the travel and time with family and friends, she can most often be found spending time in her garden or green house, growing amazing things.

Lori is enjoying life in Florida on her hobby farm and has started to road trip again, as well. In April she drove cross country, checking a few items off her bucket-list. Along the way she met up with friends, to include meeting up with Kathy to spend a few days together in the mountains of Montana. Cheryl has been busy with her business, Soul to Soul Yoga, as well as the wonderful work she does being an advocate for the disabilities community. She’s busy with so many wonderful projects, it’s hard for us to keep up with her! Please check out her blog and Facebook page about life as a sister and care-giver to a loved one with autism, as well as her journey and work as a global advocate to the global autism community.

Alexis has her hands full with her family and career. Being a mom to a one-year-old is a full-time job in and of itself. Add an 8 year-old, a husband, and a career, and well … you get the idea! Recently her family embarked on a roadtrip to visit sites throughout the southwest, with a trek north to Reno/Tahoe to visit Kathy and Pat, too. What a great adventure for her family!

Pat, our in-house photographer, has been back on the road honing her photography skills and capturing wonderful images for us to use as visuals for the guided meditations on our YouTube channel. We’re so blessed to have this as an added offering in our arsenal.

Now, though we’re all enjoying full and active lives, we’ve still been busy with weekly guided meditations, podcasts, and attending virtual support group and chapter meetings to allow us to continue to do the work that we love and to reach those in need. We now have webinars and guided meditations available in multiple languages, as well as close-captioned. Our podcast now has over 13,000 downloads, in 99 countries, and 2160 cities.
